Kaapse Brouwers x Design 911 - Can Design
Role: Role: Packaging Design, Visual Identity, Art Direction
The ‘Double Dutch’ 330ml can was created as a collaboration between Rotterdam-based brewery Kaapse Brouwers and Porsche parts specialist Design 911.
I led the design independently, defining the visual direction from concept through to final artwork, with the brief centred on creating a bold, graphic identity that felt genuinely collaborative rather than overtly co-branded.
The design balances strong typography with a stripped-back, high-contrast palette, allowing the identity to sit comfortably within both brands’ worlds. A collage of Porsche imagery captured by the Design 911 team was integrated into the can design, reinforcing the collaboration while prioritising clarity, shelf impact and versatility across photography, social content and physical use.
Following this release, I went on to design two further cans for Kaapse Brouwers x Design 911, building on the original visual language and establishing a consistent, recognisable series.
